Fields of Cooperation
Canada has traditionally been a good friend and partner of Georgia in democratic development.
Georgia attaches great importance to the cooperation and development of relations with Canada - a member of NATO, G8, and a country whose foreign policy priority is the development of democracy worldwide. Georgia and Canada actively cooperate within the framework of International Organizations (UN, OSCE). Canada supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and its integration into North Atlantic Alliance. Political consultations between Georgia and Canada have been held on the regular bases since 2009.
